Life In Between
Length of programme/time aired/frequency (once a week, twice a week, every day)
Length of the program would be 30 minutes long, this is because I feel this amount of time is long enough for the target audience which is 12 - 17-year-olds to watch it for (As the attention span of younger people is a lot shorter compared to 20+-year-olds) In regards to when the show is aired, I would put it on a Wednesday afternoon at 17:00 this is because this would be a show kids would come back too mid week and watch it before they have their dinner, as well as it being something they can look froward to watch during the week. Seeing as there target audience will all still be in education I will put it on at 17:00 as the is when they will be back from school/college. By having mid-week allows the target audience to have something yo look forward to. Having it on 17:00 means the target audience will have just come back from school and will want to watch something on TV, its also before most of the target audience have their dinner (meaning it's a show they can watch before they eat). In regards to how many episodes a week, I think there should only be one a week, this is mainly due to budget requirements (one show a week with a bigger budget would allow for a better show for the audience) However the show will also be repeated for the audiences who missed it on that specific day, so, for example, it could be repeated on a Saturday morning.
Target audience (go into more detail about who they are/imaginary entity/psychographics etc.)
Target audience for Life in between will be gender neutral and for 12- 17 year olds.
Purpose (uses and gratifications)
In line with the proposal, it states the program has to inform the audience of a rage of information that being, health and well being, celebrity gossip, film, and game reviews. By sharing this content with the viewers it will allow our target audience to become active audience members, this can be done through many ways, one of which is through social media platforms such as Twitter and Facebook. The program's purposes are also to inform entertain and educate seeing as its being put on a public service broadcast (depending on their remit)
Title sequence and background music
The title sequence will be bold brightly colored with soft red light or blue. These colors are very neutral colors towards the target audience meaning it will give more of a relaxing aesthetic, For the background music I want an uplifting theme tune as well as being a tune that is very relatable to the target audience
Set (style, mise-en-scene, colour scheme, layout sketch, camera layout etc.)
For the style of the show, I want a very laid back feel with calm colors such as blues, oranges, and yellows. There will be a lot of plants and trees to represent nature to the audience, so they gain a natural feel to the program. I would also have curved furniture in bold colors, one’s similar to what my audience would be sitting on at home, I would also place them in a circular way to give the idea that everyone is included and everyone is together.
The mise-en-scene used for the show will be bright lights on the presenters, stage, and aspects of the set such as key features like the sofa etc. By having it bright and well lit will make it feel warmer and inviting to the audience which Is what I'm going for. For the camera layout I wont have nay more than 3 big cameras on tripods as this will be mainly due to budget, in regards ti when the VT's are filmed I will use stabilised cameras.

Layout of set
Aesthetics and colours I would want
Presenter/presenters (including their mode of address, who would you choose?)
For the programs presenters I will have two young presenters, one male and one female. I feel if there any more than two presenters the show wont flow as well and wont be as personal to the audience. Also by having one male and one female presenters allows the target audience not to be one specific gender as we will compromise for both. The presenters as I mentioned earlier will both be young adults, almost like a big sister or big brother to the audiences. The mode of address these presenters will convey will be a enthusiastic and upbeat similar to the presenters on blue Peter, however as the target audience is older than blue Peter the used of language should be a little more formal and the use of colloquial language. I think its very important the body language and the way they speak comes across friendly and equal to the viewers.

The brief states the show will have topics such as: health and well being, celebrity gossip, filming and gaming reviews. Another sub categories that I think would fit well, as well as bringing in more of an audience is having a live music performances.
How it will be/could be distributed?
It would be distributed on public broadcasting service. The show could also be shown on, on demand services such as BBC iplayer or platforms similar to this. The way the show would be shared/distributed would be through social media apps like snapchat. This would be done with the filter selection, allowing the audience members to become passive audience members. The show could also be live tweeting throughout, and also allowing the audiences to tweet in any questions or answers they have about topics on the show.
How it reinforces/subverts similar media texts
What is its unique selling point? How is it different to what is already out there?
