Notes/Changes to be made.
00:00 - 05:18: This part of the sequence I need to shorten down as well as colour grading it too match the tone of the piece, I also need to stabilise it to make it looks as fluid as possible. The audio also needs to be adjusted In logic pro.
05:18 - 25:08: This is the same for the rest of these shots, up to 25:08 all the shots are very similar meaning I need to do exactly the same to the other shots (Colour Grading, stabilising, cutting down and changing the sound in Logic).
25:08 - 57:15: This part of the shot I need to change the levels of it, for example the sound isn't right I need to change the levels of their voices so you can hear them more clearly; I need to do this in Logic Pro. I also need to stabilise so it looks more visually pleasing to the audience as well as colour grading it to a darker colour (grey) to match the theme of the piece.
01:36:04 - 02:37:18: This part of the VT the sounds of the actors talking is really off and its quiet hard to hear what they are saying, I therefore need to change this in Logic Pro so their levels are correct, I also need to colour grade this piece.
03:06:19 - 03:34:10: When the title sequence comes on I need to edit this down to a better transition instead of cutting straight to black and its the same at the end of the title sequence it cuts straight to the live production instead I need to fade it to the live sequence instead, I also need to fade the music in when the title sequence starts to play.
03:47:21 - 03:54:01: In the live sequence there is a shot of Adam getting up to open the door for Mr. Lauder unfortunately the camera shot shows the edge of frame so in post production I need to crop this so it doesn't show.
04:44:04 - 04:49:20: This part of the live sequence there is a mid shot of Adam sitting down next to Death on a chair however the lighting in this shot isn very dark, so I either need to make the other shots dark to match this shot to try and lighten this shot up without making it look cheap and not good.
03:34:10 - 06:54:17: Throughout the live production the audio is only coming out one side of the speaker this is because their was a fault with the sound, so this means I need to change this in Final cut pro which means I only need to click stereo for it to work on both speakers
06:54:17 - At this point of the live production I need to put a end credit, to credit all the Actors and people who worked on the production.

Why do these changes need to be made and within regards to the storyboard?:
I'm now going to be referring back to my storyboard and the changes that needed to be made to have the effect on the audience and what conventions I used.
One change I talk about is the pace of the shot at 00:00 - 05:18 - This change needs to be made to follow conventions of a Tv drama. Tv drama shots tend to be a lot shorter and faster pace to keep the audience engaged. By doing this will have a effect on the audience, it will keep the audience engaged and interested in the show, in regards to the colour I need to change the tones of the shots to make it more darker and more serious, colours often used in TV dramas are dark grey colours ( this is a convention of a Tv drama; dark colouring). When referring back to my storyboard I added a time frame of how long each shot would be, I put that it would be around 20 seconds long, however when it comes to editing I feel this is too unrealistic and would need to be a lot shorter to follows conventions of a TV drama and appeal to my audience as I have stated above.
Another change I thought needed to be added and how it has an effect on the audience was for the colouring and stabilisation at 05:18 - 25:08 - The reason why these shots need to change and edited it because otherwise, it won't follow the codes and conventions of a TV drama. I stated above in the section "changes that need to be made" that the colouring needs changing as well as stabilisation of the video and changing the sounds. By changing these keys conventions and turning it into a Tv drama the effects it will have on the audience will be significant compared to the first edit. This is because if I change the colours to a more saturated tone it will give connotations of darkness anger and scariness all of which might evoke feelings in the audience. Also, I need to stabilise each shot, this is to make it visually pleasing to look at for the audience because if it has shaky shots it doesn't follow the convention of a TV drama and won't be the look and feel I am going for. When I change the stabilisation it will make the video more visually pleasing to watch and my audience will enjoy it more. When I looked back at my storyboard I wanted this shot to be a dark looking scene not bright and colourful, I really wanted to bring out the greys and blacks in the background. On my storyboard, I didn't put any light sources in the frame as I wanted it to stay dark. In my storyboard, I wanted a smooth tracking backward shot, so I feel I need to change this to follow my storyboard as I feel this will make it visually pleasing to my audience.
The last change I thought needed to be changed to create this effect and follow conventions was the sound of the piece at 01:36 - 02:37 - The sound is slightly off in this part of the VT, so I need to change this in Logic, by doing this it will be easier to hear what the actors are saying as well as it making it sound more pleasing. By changing the sound will follow conventions of a TV drama as the sounds in a TV drama will always be at best quality. When referring back to my storyboard I mentioned about the sounds I wanted to use and from what I obviously wanted all the sounds to be correct and at the highest standard for the audience as this will give it a good effect on the audience as it will sound more professional.

Where my effects/transitions have been added.
0:00 - 0:06 Ive taken out the diegetic sound from the original clips and added sound effects such as heavy breathing and background nosies like cars and streets fans. Ive also colour graded each shot to a darker look, turning down the grey scales on it and putting the blues up to make it seem more cold. Ive also added splits seconds of blackness to change from each shot this is to engage the audience.
1:03 - 1:07 here Ive change to a low angle wide shot from behind to make the shots more interesting.
0:00 - 6:43 Ive stabilised all the shot to stop them being as shaky as well as colour grading everything.
1:18 -1:20 Here ive added an extreme wide Side shot to make the shots more interesting.
1:26 - 1:30 Ive added a behind the shoulder shot to make it more personable for the audience.
3:24 - 3:27 Ive changed the shot so when we see and hear Adam talk and sit down we can hear Mr. Lauder talking to Adam
4:55 - 4:59 Here ive added a shot where we see Mr. Lauders facial expressions when Adam tells us how he is really feeling.
6:12 - 6:43 I added in the end credits giving credit to each person involved with the production.

Above is my edit decision list:
The first shot I decided to use In my VT was the mid shot tracking to open it, as In my storyboard this is what I had put and had imagined to open my VT with. The reason why I used a tracking mid shot to open with, is because straight away we are allowed to see the characters, meaning the audience can already start to build an idea of what sort of people they are, just by this first shot allowing us to see their faces, movement and clothes they are wearing. I also used a behind the shoulder shot as I think this creates meaning within the piece, for example having a behind the shoulder shot means we are more in contact with the characters it feels more personal within the piece. This shot I also added into the VT as I didn't have it on my Storyboard I added as I felt it was more personal. I used wide shots in the VT as well as I wanted not just to give a variety of shots but to also allow the audience/viewer to understand the location and where the characters where at that exact point as I believe the location was a key part of the story. Later on in the sequence I used a High up mid shot, this is a shot I also added in to theVT and a shot that wasn't in my storyboard to begin with, I added this shot as I felt it compelled the audience to believe that are main character (ADAM) was weak and not strong hence why the shot was above him so it made the audience feel like they had more powers than him. In my live production I used a lot of close up shots to create emphasises on the characters emotion, this created emotion on the storyline as the camera shot allowed us to gain information on how the character is Feeling. In the live production I also used wide shots/establishing shots, this was because I wanted the audience to fully understand the arrangement os the characters as I fell this is very important the order in which the characters sit as it tells us a lot about their personality and emotions towards the other characters. For example Adam sits as far away from Mr. Lauder as possible, to show that he isn't interested in talking abut his feelings and what is wrong with him. The way Death sits on the sofas tells us a lot about the character, for example her lying back on the sofa tells us he's is a very relaxed person and spent really care about what people think .
